Cherished grandfather of Matthew, Jason, Tim, Nathan and Caitlin; and great-grandfather of 3. Dear brother of Marjorie Anderson. Predeceased by first wife Barbara Hurd. Friends may pay respects at Kelly Funeral Home, 1255 Walkley Road (east of Bank) Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. Funeral Saturday to Rideau Park United Church for Service at 11 a.m. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens.

I moved back to Arnprior where most of the family I know live but I heard of all sorts of Gallingers in Ottawa, I just want to reconnect and see how were all doing .....
I can't think of anymore names of the bat of my head but I keep posting plz post back ....

was born in hull, quebec raised in ottawa and bounced around by my mom Tina Bedard...
it was great reading about us and hearing about Arnold Gallinger is what made me think this is probably my family anyways its been 20/21yrs since my dads death I never really met much of the Gallingers and if you met me young I dont really remember but
Im 22 now and really want to meet everyone maybe get a BBQ going reunion maybe.......

Loving father of Sharon Maras (Claude) of St. Catharines, Patricia Scott (late Gary) of Cornwall, Kevin Gallinger (Sheila) of Ottawa, Carl Gallinger of Kapuskasing and Clifford Gallinger (Barbara) of Long Sault. Cherished grandfather of MacLean, Meredith, Shannon, Carissa, Kayla and Joshua. Beloved son of the late Elbert Gallinger and the late Myrtle (Smith) Gallinger. Dear brother of Dorothy Piquette (late Hector) of Cornwall. Predeceased by three brothers, Gerald, George and Arnold Gallinger and by three sisters, Ruth Preston, Olive Harper and Jean Murphy. Friends will be received at M. JOHN SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Friday from 2-4 p.m and 7 -9 p.m and on Saturday from 10 a.m until the time of Funeral. Funeral Saturday, February 13, 2010 in the Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11 a.m, followed by cremation.
